KILLED BY ANGRY BULL

Henry Lehrke of the town of Saxeville was so badly mangled last week Tuesday by a vicious bull in the pasture, that he died early Thursday morning.

It seems that he went to the pasture to salt the cattle, when without warning the bull attacked him, knocked him down and broke his breast bone and shoulder bones and broke three ribs so that they penetrated his lungs.  The bull never showed any signs of ugliness before.

Mr. Lehrke was about 48 years of age and leaves a widow, three sons and one daughter and an aged mother.

His funeral was held at the house Saturday afternoon and the remains buried in the Brushville cemetery.

The family have the sympathy of all the community in their affliction.
