            Mrs. Wm. Marcy died at her home near Royalton, Wis., Jan. 31, 1908, of pneumonia, following confinement, after an illness of only five days.

            Ina Margaretta Fletcher was born in Malone, Franklin Co., N.Y., Feb. 20, 1865.  Her parents came to Wisconsin in 1871, settling on a farm in the town of Lebanon, Waupaca Co., where she grew to womanhood.  She was educated in the public schools and was for eight years a successful schoolteacher.  Oct. 12, 1892, she married Wm. Marcy of Royalton.  Seven children were born to them, one boy dying in infancy.  She is survived by a husband and six children, an aged mother, four sisters, Mrs. Eastman of Hortonville, Mrs. Anna Farrell of New London, Miss Mary Fletcher and Mrs. Blanche batten of Royalton; three brothers, Lucius Fletcher, now of Wakefield, Mich., Reuben Fletcher of Royalton, besides other relatives and a host of friends.

            Her mother and sister Mary were confined to the house by sickness and her brother Clark was unable to reach home in time for the funeral which was held from the Congregational church of Royalton, Feb. 3, Rev. Sanders officiating, with interment in Royalton cemetery.

            Mrs. Marcy was an admirable wife and mother and a kind friend and neighbor who will be greatly missed by her family and by her friends.
