WALTER MACGREGOR IS
DEAD
Word
was received here Wednesday morning of the death of Walter MacGregor,
which occurred at St. Lukes
hospital in Spokane, Washington,
on that morning. The sudden news of his
death comes as a great shock to the people of this city.
Deceased
was born in Bellingham, Minnesota,
December 2nd, 1899,
and came to this city with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm MacGregor when about four years of age. He attended the local schools and was
graduated from the high school with the class of 1919. For a short time he was
employed as combination man at the local exchange of the Wisconsin Telephone
Company, after which he went to Depere and was
engaged in the same line of work. About
the first of January, he went to Spokane, Washington,
and was employed by the Washington Power and Electric Company when word was
received of his death.
He
is survived by his father, and three sisters, Katherine and Clare of this city,
and Laura of Lorraine, Ohio,
besides a large number of friends with whom he was most popular.
The
body will be brought to this city for burial, but as yet, no definite
arrangements have been made aside from the fact that the services will be in
charge of the Masonic Lodge, of which he was a member of the Depere order.
