Melvin Peterson, who left Waupaca about four weeks ago for Rosemont, Minn., died at that place Saturday afternoon. . The remains were brought here, arriving Monday afternoon, at which time the funeral took place. He was about nineteen years of age and had always lived in Waupaca. He leaves four brothers, Ralph of Waupaca, Edgar of Fond du Lac, Albert and Floyd of Rosemount, Minn., who attended the funeral, also a sister, Ethel, living in this city. His mother, having left for Marshfield, Ore., was unable to attend the funeral. The Maccabees had charge of the services.
