John Pinkerton Dies

Members
of his family and friends were greatly shocked by the sudden death of John
Pinkerton, 45, which occurred at his farm home north of Waupaca Friday, March
15, at 6 p.m. The cause of death was coronary thrombosis.
John
Pinkerton, a son of the late John and Mary Pinkerton, was born March 2, 1895, in the town of Waupaca. He was graduated from Waupaca
High School and became a farmer.
Deceased
was married to Rosie Orr in Waupaca, Feb.
17, 1922, and to this union there were born two sons, who, with
their mother, are left to mourn his loss.
They are John Thomas and William Robert, both at home. Other survivors are three sisters: Miss
Carrie Pinkerton, teacher at Rhinelander; (Effa) Mrs. Hugh C. Johnson, Sheridan;
and (Fiah) Mrs. Albert Larson, Neenah,
and five brothers; Altai, Sam and Ray of Waupaca; Fred of Albany, New York, and
Dr. Harold Pinkerton, Ironwood, Mich.
Rev.
G.N. Doody officiated at funeral services at he Pinkerton
family home on School street
Monday afternoon. Pallbearers were M.P.
Godfrey, E.P. Barrington, Ralph Constance, Jay Ware, Robt.
Erickson and Fred Suhs, and interment was at Lakeside
cemetery.
Out
of town attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Orr, Stevens
Point; Mrs. W.J. Pinkerton, Bessmer,
Mich.; Mrs. E.A. Hannon, Wisconsin
Rapids and George Bothwell, Clintonville.
