Died at Weyauwega June 10^th, ’92, Alvah Rich, father of T. Rich of this city and O.A. Rich of Weyauwega, aged 91 years, 2 months, 13 days. Deceased was born in Montpelier Vt. In the spring of 1852 he moved to Wis., settled in Royalton, this county. In 1874 moved to Weyauwega where he has since resided with his son. He was a member of the Baptist church, having united with the society in this city a good many years ago. In politics he was a Whig and a Republican, having voted for Wm. H. Harrison in 1840 and Benjamin Harrison in 1888. The funeral was held at the house, on Sunday, at the Congregational church, Rev. Clark preaching the funeral sermon. A large concourse of people were present.
