            The sad news of the sudden death of Mrs. W.T. Rinehart of Ashland reached relatives here Saturday morning.  Her death occurred on Friday night, Nov. 15, while she was returning with her husband from an evening’s company.

            Mrs. Rinehart was a native of this city, a daughter of the late P.A. Chesley.  She was born in December 1859 and was married in 1887 to Dr. Rinehart.  Soon after their marriage they went to Ashland, where they have since resided.

            The remains arrived in this city on Monday afternoon and the funeral services were held at St. Mark’s church, Rev. George Hirst of Chippewa Falls, officiating, and she was laid at rest in Lakeview Cemetery.

            She is survived by her husband, Dr. Rinehart, her mother, Mrs. T.M. Chesley, three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Hodges and Miss Mollie Chesley of Ashland, and Mrs. J.L. Sturtevant of this city, and three brothers, Charles and Harry of Chicago, and William of Nome, Alaska.

            Mrs. W.T. Rinehart of Ashland died very suddenly on Friday night, Nov. 15, her demise being unlooked for.  As she was returning from an evening company, with her husband, she complained of difficulty in breathing; a severe coughing spell followed, a blood vessel in the lungs burst, and though every effort was made to relieve her, death ensued very quickly.

            Mrs. Rinehart was the daughter of the late P.A. Chesley of this city, and was born here in December, 1859.  She was married to Dr. W.T. Rinehart in 1887, going to Ashland soon afterward and living there ever since.  She has been a frequent visitor here, thus keeping up her friendship with Waupaca people.  She was a woman of very strong character, very active and successful in business affairs, and of a charming personality.

            The remains arrived in this city on Monday afternoon, and funeral services were held at St. Mark’s church, Rev. George Hirst of Chippewa Falls officiating, and she was laid at rest in Lakeview cemetery.

            Mrs. W.T. Rhinehart died suddenly on Friday evening, Nov. 15, on returning from a social with her husband. While feeling a difficulty in breathing a sudden coughing spell ruptured a blood vessel in her lungs, death resulting very soon thereafter, proving a great shock and sorrow to husband, relatives and many friends.

            Mrs. Rhinehart was born in this city in 1859, her parents being the late P.A. and Mrs. T.M. Chesley of this city.  She was married to Dr. W.T.
