Mrs. Addie Robertson
Friday
evening, Dec. 20th, occurred the death of
Mrs. W.H. Robertson of Weyauwega. Mrs. Robertson, whose maiden name was Addie
Jane Shaw, was born Sept. 5th, 1860 in
the town of Union, this county. Her
parents and grandparents, were among the earliest
settlers of the town, coming there from the state of New
Hampshire. Her
father and mother died some years ago. Mrs. Robertson leaves her husband and
three children, Will S., who was working at Rosholt, but came home two days
before his mother’s death, Margaret, aged 12 years, and Robert, aged seven,
also a stepson, George, whose home is in Hoquiam, Wash. Three brothers and three sisters survive her. Her brothers, George, who lives in Hoquiam,
Wash., and Alden, who lives in Birmingham,
Iowa, were unable to attend the
funeral. Her brother Arthur Shaw of the
town of Lind, and her sisters, Mrs.
Mary Danley of Manawa, Mrs. Sam Brush of Royalton,
and Mrs. Carrie G. Christian of Chicago, who was so faithful and devoted in
caring for her, attended the funeral services which were held at the Methodist
church Monday afternoon by the Rev. J.S. Neff.
