DEATH OF A.J. SMITH

Passed Away at Trinity Hospital Milwaukee, Wednesday Morning

A telephone message to the Journal states that A.J. Smith died at Trinity hospital, Milwaukee, at 8 o’clock Wednesday morning. Mr. Smith, who has been engaged in the practice of law and in the insurance business at Amherst for many years, was taken to Milwaukee several weeks ago. At that time he appeared to be suffering heart disease, but the immediate cause of death was Bright’s disease. Mr. Smith, who was about 67 years of age, was naturally of such a strong and hearty nature that the first announcement of his serious illness was received with surprise.
