G. Sodersten died at his home in the town of Scandinavia. He was born in Sweden in the year 1836 and came to America in 1866 when he settled in Farmington and lived there for thirty years. He then moved to his present homestead, where he has lived ever since. On July 27, 1871, he was married to Miss Betsy Torgerson. Seven children, three boys and four girls were born to them, of whom two are living, Gust, living on the farm and Mrs. Martin Trinrud of Farmington. Besides his wife and th two children, many relatives and friends are left to mourn his loss. He was a pleasing old gentleman and was well liked by all whom he came in contact with.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon from the Swede church in Farmington.

NORTHEAST FARMINGTON

The funeral services of G. Sodersten was held in the Swedish church Friday, Feb. 7 was well attended. Revs. Nelson and Rosander conducted the services.
