Mrs. Jennie McQueen Stillman died at her mother’s home in the Third ward on Tuesday evening, Dec. 13, after a long and painful illness. Mrs. Stillman was born in Waukegan, Ill., on Aug. 5, 1850, and came here with her parents about thirty years ago. She was a graduate of the medical department of the Northwestern University at Chicago, graduating in 1893, since which time she has been practicing medicine in this city. Last April she was taken with a hemorrhage of the lungs, and since then has been gradually growing weaker until the end came. Besides an aged mother, she leaves a brother, John McQueen, of California, and a son, 17 years of age, to mourn her demise. The funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon from the house. H.H. Suhs will direct the funeral.
