Bills Had to go to Hospital Because of a Wire Scratch.
His Arm Will be Saved.
One day last week Orlando Bills while adjusting a piece of wire to hold a rubber tire on his
buggy, met with a scratch on his hand.
It resulted in a fester and finally blood poison, making his arm pain
and swell clear to his shoulder. He was
taken to St. Mary’s hospital at Oshkosh
last Saturday, by Dr. Christofferson. Mrs. Bills went along and came home Thursday. She reports that her husband had a narrow
escape but the poison appears to have disappeared and there’ll be no need of an
amputation as was reported. He is
however very weak from the pain endured.
Mrs. Bills expects to return to Oshkosh
today and thinks if her husband continues to improve they will be able to
return next week.
