The Bronson Reception

The reception for married people at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Bronson, last Wednesday evening, by Mr. and Mrs. Gus and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bronson, in honor of the bride and groom Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bronson, was one of the most pleasant affairs of the season.  A more jolly company of people never assembled in this city than on this occasion.  The new residence is very nicely arranged and Gus and his estimable spouse have everything fixed up in fine shape.  The billiard room, on the second floor, s a novel as well as an interesting department.  Besides the billiard table the room is decorated with relics and specimens of all kinds.  Billiards, whist and music were the pastimes of the evening.  The refreshments were very nice, at least we judge so from the way they disappeared from off our plate, and in our observations we noticed that we were not the only one afflicted in that way.  The company all seemed to enjoy themselves and we believe that all present had a jolly good time.  The Bronsons understand how to entertain their friends in a pleasing and enjoyable manner.  Another reception was given last evening for the unmarried people at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bronson, at which time a large and select company gathered to pay their respects to the newly married couple and enjoy the hospitality of the families of Ed and Gus.  These receptions can, without fear of contradiction, be classed among the most pleasant ever held in this city.
