The potato season of 1906-7 is over in this vicinity. Shipments from this city during the season were about 1800 cars, a total of nearly a million bushels. While the early frost last October made the dealers lose money during the winter, the sharp rise in price this spring gave them an opportunity to make some money, and on the whole, the season has been a profitable one.
