GROUND TWO DAYS

The Waupaca Starch & Potato Co. started up Monday and ran two days. It was more in the line of experiment than for business. The company has been testing a new machine that is said to have half a pound of starch to the pound. Manager Bothwell will give the matter a thoro test and see if it seems advisable to place the new machine in their factories. The machine presses out pulp. Later, if it proves a success a dryer will be added which will take the skins and dry them. Then they can be ground and the product shipped to Germany where it is used for commercial purposes.
