Work is progressing rapidly on the new Wisconsin Central station and it is expected that by the middle of September Waupaca will have a depot of which she will be proud.
The structure will be 26 x 69 feet of solid stone with a brick platform and will contain a general waiting room, smoker, and woman’s waiting room, with all modern conveniences.
This will be a happy contrast to the depot which has done service here since the building of the road and which was burned a short time ago. The Chippewa Falls Construction Company have a contract for erecting the building.
