WORK ON NEW DEPOT HAS BEGUN

Work on the New Railroad is Nearing Completion – Only a few more Weeks.

Work began this morning on the depot for the Waupaca-Green Bay Railway and a crew of workmen are busy on the foundation and it is the intention of the directors to make a modern little station in this city.

A force of men are at work on the north side of the Wisconsin Central depot with two dump cars.  They have about 12,000 yards more of earth to move and the station work is completed with but a few exceptions.  The sink hole has been filled and the grading completed.  Four cars of ties have arrived from Crandon and rails are being laid at Scandinavia.

The board of directors are considering the sale of bonds and have made arrangements to add fifty men to the present force in which case the work will be completed in about three weeks.
