At a meeting of the appraisers appointed to settle the amount to be paid Lars Jorgenson and Peter Johnson for lands which are to be used by the Waupaca Green Bay Railway, near the granite quarry, on Monday, the following awards were made: Lars Jorgenson, 3 acres, $180; Peter Johnson, 7.76 acres, $785. The appraisers were John Erickson, Andrew Jorgenson and Gabriel Gabrielson. The amounts represent the value of the land taken and the damage which will be done to the farms from which it is taken.
