OGDENSBURG BANK NOW OWNED BY RESIDENTS OF VILLAGE AND VICINITY

A deal was consummated Wednesday, the 21st inst., by which the stock of Ogdensburg State Bank, capitalized for $10,000; was purchased by residents of Ogdensburg and vicinity.

Mr. H. Johnson, who has been cashier and a heavy stockholder since the bank was organized, has sold his entire interest and will engage in business elsewhere.  The bank has enjoyed a good business in the past and should maintain the prestige it has earned in the past and continue to prosper in the future.

The new board of directors are H. Herbert, A.D. Shambeau, P.H. Peterson and J.C. Johnson.  H. Herbert was elected president, A.D. Shambeau vice president and E.J. Kuehl temporary cashier.  A permanent cashier will be elected within a few days.
