DRESSEN RESIGNS AT BANK

R.D. LUTHER BECOMES CASHIER OF THE OLD NATIONAL BANK

Last Saturday evening the directors of the Old National Bank accepted the resignation of Wm. H. Dressen as cashier of that institution, and promoted Roy D. Luther, who for the past few years, has been assistant cashier, to the position.

Mr. Dressen resigns the position in order to become secretary and treasure of the Syndicate Finance Company of Milwaukee, and his resignation marks the end of twenty-five years as cashier of the Old National Bank.  During this period he has watched the bank grow from an institution with deposits of about $175,000.00, to one of the strongest banks in Waupaca county, with deposits of approximately $1,000,000.00.  While Mr. Dressen’s new headquarters will be in Milwaukee, he will not move his residence to that city, and he will still act as vice-president and director of the Old National Bank.

His successor, Mr. R.D. Luther, is well and favorably known to the people of Waupaca.  He has had years of experience in the banking business, and under his guidance the Old National Bank will continue to grow.
