THE NATIONAL BANK
The Building Improvements
are Worthy of Note.
It
is the remark on every hand since the contractor C. W. Nelson and the
decorators have got through with the interior improvements at the National Bank
that the bank presents a thoroughly up-to-date appearance. Cashier Dressen has his desk at the window
and a doorway leads from his front office to the bank department.
There has been a cozy window seat
arranged on the south side of the room and two convenient wall desks for
writing have been arranged. The
director’s room and private office has been nicely arranged in the rear separated
from the immediate rear room of the block by panel partitions and ground glass
work. The ceiling is done off in panel
work and the sides of the room are of old gold burlap, slightly but tastily
decorated. A number of choice
engravings are hung on the walls which gives the bank a very inviting effect.
