OLD NATIONAL READY
BEAUTY AND CONVENIENCE OF INTERIOR MUST BE SEEN TO BE APPRECIATED
After months devoted to remodeling and enlarging the banking quarters of the Old National Bank, during which time the Bank has found accommodations in the office of the Waupaca Abstract & Loan Company, the building will be ready of occupancy on Saturday of this week. Besides looking well in the matter of making the interior arrangements on from to the most approved plans for facilitating in the dispatch of business, the comforts and convenience of the public has been provided in the minutest detail. Besides ample room is the lobby for the accommodation of ordinary business transactions there are a number of private offices for such business as may require extended interviews with officers of the institution and for directors’ meetings. At the front of the building is a ladies’ room with ample space for desks and chairs for those who may seek a place to write a letter, to rest from the rush of shopping in the stores on either side of this center of business activity in this busy city, which for its size is second to none in the state.
We congratulate the officers and others connected with the Old National on having a home that is all that could be desired. As we were shown through the building by the genial cashier, Mr. Dressen, remarked, "We know of nothing that has been omitted in making this a perfect bank building."
