NEW INDUSTRY FOR WAUPACA

Will Install Plant for Making Another Grade of Brick at His Plant Here.

            C. Gmeiner was in Chicago last week to get his new Jersey five-passenger car and while there Mr. Gmeiner negotiated with a firm that will put in a plant for making a grade of brick similar to the very hard brick in the public library and the Waupaca High School.  In this way it will be possible to use the clay that is not suitable for the ordinary Waupaca brick.  We understand that the installation of such a plant will necessitate an expenditure of at least $15,000 and the industry will give employment to quite a number of addition men.  We hope it may succeed.
