WAUPACA COUNTY POST
September 30, 1926
HOLY STORE TO BE REMODELED; TO LEASE PART
MINKHOFF AND BALKANSKY WILL OCCUPY FINE NEW CORNER STORE
BEGINNING JANUARY 1
In this issue of the Post will be found the advertisement of A.J. Holly and Sons who are selling out their entire stock of furniture and radios. The building will be remodeled and divided so as to have the front two-thirds fitted for the Waupaca Fruit Store. Messrs. Minkhoff and Balkansky will move into this fine corner building two doors from their present location. Mr. Holly will put in a new front and make a corner entrance. He wil remove the platform scale from the street and in place of the window on the south a side door will be put in which will open into the rear of the fruit and grocery store.
Funeral Parlor at Rear
The rear one-third of the building will be elaborately fitted up for a funeral parlor which will open upon East Fulton Street.
The lease will begin January 1, 1927, although the lease on the Klein building where the fruit store is now located has until October 1, 1927, to run.
Messrs. Minkhoff and Balkansky believe that they will be able to re-lease the building they now occupy during the time they will not occupy it. The business done at the Fruit Store has greatly increased within the few years that Minkhoff and Balkansky have been in business in Waupaca.
