JORGENSEN COMPANY HAS LEASED OFFICES IN MILLER BUILDING
On Wednesday, the Jorgensen Manufacturing Company moved their offices from the factory on Churchill street to a suite of rooms above Chr. J. Miller’s real estate offices on North Main street.
A lease has been taken for the entire second floor. The front half of the second floor has been remodeled into suitable sized offices, and are being occupied at the present time. The necessary work to get the rear half in condition for occupancy will be done immediately.
Starting today, a three-day Sale Conference is being held which will be attended by the entire corps of salesmen who are to represent the company. Several men of national repute on selling and merchandising are to address the meeting.
With the expiration of the contract with United Motors Service of Detroit, which gave the company control of the sale of the products manufactured, it was decided to handle and control all of the sales work right form the factory.
Six experienced automotive equipment salesmen have been engaged who are going to call on the jobbing trade throughout the United States and Canada.
Mr. Beerend returned from at rip East last week. While in New York he arranged for the opening of an eastern office in the heart of the wholesale automobile and accessory district of New York City. The salesmen covering the eastern territory will make this new office their headquarters.
It is also the intention of the company to open a Pacific Coast office.
