LEWIS GLOVER, GREEN BAY, PURCHASES GOING BUSINESS OF W. KOENIG

The sale by Wm. Koenig of his harness business to Lewis Glover of Green Bay was largely the result of chance. Mr. and Mrs. Glover and their little son were touring this section of the state and were very favorably impressed by the tidy and thrifty appearance of Waupaca. Mr. Glover is a harness maker by trade but had not been following that business for the past few months. He called upon Mr. Koenig and the subject of purchase came up. The latter offered to sell and the terms were accepted at once, in fact before Mr. Glover had investigated the housing situation as he later did. He found the scarcity of houses in Waupaca similar to the condition in other desirable towns.

Mr. Koenig does not expect to leave Waupaca but declined to say at this time just what line of business activity he may pursue.

Mr. Glover learned his trade from his father and the latter learned his trade in Waupaca and worked for Mr. Timme in this city fifty years ago. Mr. Glover is confident he will enjoy his residence and business experience in Waupaca and we do not hesitate in predicting that the family will find a hearty welcome in the city "worth while".
