NEW STEWART TRACTOR FINISHED TUESDAY; AT MADISON NEXT EVENING

A new type of Stewart Tractor completed Tuesday evening, was run out of the shop Wednesday morning and that evening a message announced its arrival at Madison where it will be on inspection during the road school.

This tractor is equipped with air starter and air brakes and electric lights. A workman at the shop reported that without any adjustments the engine worked as perfectly and as quietly as an automobile engine.

The assembling of this tractor was done under the direction of William Ewald and the work was rushed night and day for the past week in order to have the machine at Madison for the road school. A day and a night shift of five men each accomplished the feat.

The good time made on the initial trip is evidence that the work of manufacture and assembling was perfect.
