WAUPACA POST

January 11, 1894

Perhaps it is not known by some that there is a free circulating library owned by the W.C.T.U., of Waupaca, and that it is kept at the millinery store of Mrs. E. Claussen. The books for the past nine months have circulated free outside the city limits, as well as in the city.  It was decided by the Union today, Jan. 9, 1894, to resume, on Jan. 13, the former charges of one dollar per year, or ten cents a volume to all except members of the Women’s Christian Union by paying one dollar yearly dues and signing the pledge.  Only women are entitled to vote in this society.
