Gentlemen:

I am sorry that I was unable to attend your meeting at the City Hall some time ago, to discuss the matter of a Live Stock Sales Pavilion.

I am very interested in the Guernsey business. I have just bough a young Guernsey male for our Junior Herd Bull, and I will soon buy an advanced Registered aged Guernsey male for our Senior Herd Bull.

I hope Waupaca county will soon be in the lead in live stock, and beat Waukesha county.

Yours respectively,

Guy R. Miller.

Gentlemen:

As the weather and roads do not seem as they will be very good, I thought it might be a good idea to let you know by mail, something of my sentiments in regards to the project.

As far as my knowledge goes, I think it would be a very good thing, as surely we can build an Armory and Sale Pavilion combined cheaper than each one separate. In union there is strength, so it is in the union of business men; bankers, farmers and laboring men; it would be an easier proposition than for each one separate.

If it should be impossible for me to be with you in person, I will be with you in spirit. My aim is to work for the good of the people and the county and these are the things of greatest importance in this proposition.

Hoping you will have a good meeting and satisfactory results, I remain

Respectfully yours,

W.H. Taggart
