It has been suggested that the city council erect a band stand in the court house square for use by the Waupaca band this summer   For several seasons the band boys have given concerts during the summer, undergoing the discomforts of having to carry their chairs over from the band room, and having to watch their music, accoutrements, etc., closely on account of the crowd.  If a neat band stand could be built for them they would give a regular series of open air concerts during the summer, and enliven the monotony.  The Waupaca band is far better than the average country band and the boys deserve encouragement.  Let the subject be agitated.
