Hansen Blacksmith Shop Waupaca Republican May 6, 1886 Walter Baldwin has purchased a half interest in Peter Hansen’s blacksmith shop and patent stump-puller, and the firm will take immediate steps to put the grub and stump extractor on the market in such a manner that its merits will be known, and large sales will undoubtedly be made. It is a sensible, cheap and practical machine, and ought to sell rapidly where there is a market for anything of the kind. Waupaca Republican August 15, 1890 The old “Live and Let Live Shop” of Jens Hansen is being town down to make room for the new retaining wall on the north side of Fulton street east of the Odd Fellow’s block. Also Mr. Hansen is building the foundation for a splendid new wagon manufactury and blacksmith shop 40 x 54, a large part of it to be two stories high and basement. Next year he will build a show room or warehouse 29 x 60 on the west side. That room will project out over the river somewhat to get the 60 feet. The present foundation runs close to the river. Mr. John Perkins has a lot 29 feet front upon which he hopes to build at the same time next season with Mr. Hansen. Waupaca Republican March 24, 1893 P. A. House, Blacksmith & Wagon Maker!
