NEW LAW FIRM

Browne, Browne & Fisher – New Law Firm, Just Established!

A new law partnership was formed in this city Jan. 1st by the addition of William E. Fisher to the firm of E. L. & E. E. Browne.  The Browne part of the firm is one of the oldest in law in Central Wisconsin, Hon. E. L. Browne putting out his single in the once little village of Waupaca in 1852.  Two of his sons, Paul and Edward E., developed into lawyers and graduated with honors, Paul going to Rhinelander and Edward E. remaining in Waupaca, the firm having been for a number of years as above.  Mr. Browne Sr. having advanced in years has seen fit to relinquish active duties a part of the time, especially in winter, while at his home on the Gulf Coast in Biloxi, Miss.  The business of the law firm increasing all the time the name of William D. Fisher has been added to the same.

Mr. Fisher is no stranger here, he is the son of former supervisor Fisher of Farmington, a graduate of the Waupaca High School and a graduate of the College of Law in Michigan University at Ann Arbor.  He has also had some practical experience, having been in the law office of the Browne’s for the past four years and entering as a partner in the firm speaks well for his ability.  The REPUBLICAN wishes for Messrs. Browne, Browne & Fisher, success.
