Test Many Cattle for T.B.; Only 193 Condemned Out of 44,000
The county wide Bovine T.B. test for Waupaca County, which is in charge of Dr. B.H. Borman, is progressing rapidly, and it is expected that the work will be completed by July 18th.
There are ten veterinarians working in the county, and since the work started they have tested 343 herds of cattle, containing 44,280 head of cattle. In this number 2,722 reactors were found, out of which 197 were found infected and condemned.
Five carloads of these condemned cattle, which passed the government meat inspection, have been shipped to Chicago stock yards this week. Two carloads went from Waupaca, one from Clintonville, and from Royalton and one from New London.
