THE REPUBLICAN January 28, 1887 The electric light association is making some changes this week by taking out the incandescent lights from the stores of H. J. Stetson, Richard Lea, Jeffers & Hudson, Woodnorth & Whipple and C. A. Spencer. The above stores will substitute the arc electric light, and Messrs. Stetson and Lea will have two each in their stores. The association will be compelled to put in another dynamo if the demand for electric lights for residences continues. The stores mentioned in this article expect to have the arc lights running Saturday night. |
