The
GJC store opened in Waupaca at E. Union St. in June 1973 then moved to its
present location at 113 E. Fulton on the Courthouse Square, November 20.
Store
manager Loraine Bertram explained that the store offers everything from dish
detergent to snowmobiles. And for the holiday season, GJC lists a number of
special items including, candles, snowmobile suits, boots, and helmets and a
variety of Christmas decorations.
The
Bertrams, Loraine and husband Bill, have lived in Waupaca the past four years,
and Bill is employed at Tomorrows Youth Inc.
