THE WAUPACA
REPUBLICAN POST September 16, 1915 HARDWARE STORE SOLD C. L. Christensen and
Theodore Nelson Buy Fred L. Parish Store in This City. On
account of two transfers of real estate, some of which lies in another county,
the deal that has been pending for the sale of the Parish hardware store in
this city has taken considerable time and is not closed at the time we go to
press. The
purchasers of the hardware stock are C. L. Christensen, owner of the fine truck
farm on Berlin Street, and Theodore Nelson, who has been engaged by E. C.
Williams in his hardware store for a number of years. An exchange of the property of Mr. Christensen for a small
property at New London, which Mr. Parish is willing to take in exchange, opened
the way for the consummation of a deal that has been pending since last
spring. As the entire amount to be
given in exchange between the New London property and that of Mr. Christensen
has been deposited, the deal will be closed as soon as the abstracts of title
are completed on the two pieces of real estate entering into the deal.
