A firm known as the “Enterprise Manufacturing Company” has been organized to manufacture and market a patented article known as the Handy Pie and Cake Lifter which is already well known on the market. The firm consists of J. E. Cristy and T.W. Simcox and they have already leased the brick building on Main Street now occupied by N. P. Peterson as a Blacksmith shop.  Power machinery will be installed to meet the growing demand for the article. About ten hands will be employed at the start and more will be added later.

The firm contemplates the manufacture of other novelties may be developed in the near future.

The business of Simcox and Williams will be in no way affected by this new enterprise and will remain in charge of T. W. Simcox as heretofore.
