A New Industry
Messrs. Chamberlain and Nelson, have leased and fitted up Holly’s building opposite Nelson Bros. planing mill, for a fence and hammock factory. Elmer Chamberlain and Herb Whitney have charge of the work. They have in use the Cincinnati standard fence machine. It walks right along making the oak slat fence, nicely put together with galvanized iron wire. An inspection of the fence and hammock’s made by the boys, convinces the REPUBLICAN that for a fence it is light, portable, cheap and economical and the hammock takes the cake.
