THE REPUBLICAN

June 18, 1886 (Friday)

Messrs. Ward & Skallerup are going to put in a large double door in the front of their Opera House with a porch and balcony above, and opening off the porch a large double window.  The building is to be painted inside and out.  They will have it all ready for the celebration in fine shape and there will be amusements of some kind going on there in the afternoon and evening.
