THE PALACE PARLORS ARE REFURNISHED
GORGEOUS AMERICAN WALNUT INTERIOR
SEATING CAPACITY IN BOOTHS AND TABLES INCREASED
A complete renovating and refurbishing of Palace Parlors is going on this week which will be completed before Easter Sunday, when a special service will be prepared for the occasion.
The panels and booths, tables and pillars are of American walnut and must be seen to be appreciated. The booths will accommodate sixty, and the eight tables will seat thirty-two making the total seating capacity ninety-two. The cane-seated chairs are most delicate and are very expensive.
The walnut interior was shipped knocked down and is being installed by workmen sent by Robert Brand and Sons Company of Oshkosh, manufacturers of bank and office fixtures and is said to be one of the finest jobs for its size ever put out by the company. The invoice from Brand and Sons Company for this gorgeous interior is a little short of $6,000 and it is safe to guess that with the chairs purchased in Chicago the total cost will exceed that figure.
