THE NEW BLUE FRONT

Simon Jensen who has had charge of repairing and remodeling the Blue Front Restaurant since the fire has finished his work and turned the building over to Mrs. Geo. Hanson the owner and Chas. Chesley the lessee.  The rear has been widened which now makes a wide building of it back to the kitchen.  Hardwood floors has been laid, building replastered, and modern steel ceilings put in the front part.  Mr. Chesley has supplied his kitchen with a new steel double range made at Beaver Dam also other up-to-date restaurant fixtures.  The new arrangement of the dining room and coffee counter is different than before.  He has put in a number of square tables which occupy all of the west side and the new oak dining chairs added to other new things makes it have the appearance of a city Café.  The lunch counter has been moved to the rear the front on the opposite side of the building being for show cases for confectionery, cigar stand etc., with cashier’s desk in front.  Mr. Chesley has certainly a No. 1 Restaurant.
