WAUPACA REPUBLICAN April 25, 1890 Walter Baldwin says that the rumor that he has bought out H.J. Stetson is an idle one; and Ed. Bailey says it must have been Talford Jeffers or Frank Whipple who started the story that he was going to buy out Vosburg. Ed says he has no inclination in a hotel direction yet. Dell Penney’s deal on the mansard roofed mansion is also declared off for the present to enable him to read the title clear. C.S. DeVoin is building an addition 17x27 feet on the west side of his hotel. The constantly increasing business of Mr. DeVoin necessitates more room.
