22, 1889 Miss Regina Smith of Milwaukee
called a meeting of all the young people interested in a dancing class, at
Granite Hall, in G.L. Lord’s block, on Monday evening, and it was proposed to
have the first lesson of the series of twelve on Monday evening, March 25. Miss Smith has taught dancing in Milwaukee
five years, and has given lessons in other interior cities of the state. She is to have classes each week at Neenah,
Waupaca and Wausau and perhaps Stevens Point.
She intends holding a dancing social at the close of each lesson. |
