WAUPACA REPUBLICAN September 4, 1896 Another Industry Andrew Williams has discovered a bed of fine pink Tripoli on his farm under the turf soil in his marsh. He has found it to be a superior article for polishing and cleaning and has already orders from several railroad companies for the material to use in polishing the brass, nickel and silver trimmings on engines, cars, etc. He has commenced its manufacture in cakes to be placed upon the market. There is no doubt about it being an article which will find a ready sale. |
