THE WAUPACA REPUBLICAN August 25, 1905 PROGRAM OF DEDICATION. The Holy Ghost Church Sunday Sept. 3rd, 1905. The New Holy Ghost Church edifice will be dedicated Sunday, Sept. 3, at which time all Scandinavian and American people are cordially invited to the service. There will be nine ministers here besides the local pastor, Rev. N. P. Simonsen, as follows: A. L. J. Soholm of Royal, Iowa former pastor vice president of the United Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, N. Jersild also a former pastor of Elkhorn, Iowa, Rev. C. H. Jensen, Racine, Rev. J. N. Jersild, Neenah, Rev. J. Soe, Neenah, Rev. J. P. Naarup, of Oshkosh, Rev. A. W. Lund, Denmark, Wis., Rev. C. M. Olsen, Poysippi, Wis., Rev. L. Johnson of Waupaca, pastor of Our Savior’s Church. Morning service will open at 10 o’clock a.m. Rev. A. L. J. Soholm will give the dedicatory sermon and will be assisted in the ceremonies of dedication by the other ministers present. Singing by the choir. At 3:00 p.m. there will be a children’s and young people’s meeting. At 8:00 p.m. there will be services conducted by C. H. Jensen of Racine and J. P. Naarup, Oshkosh. The services to be in the English language. Also there will be special singing service by the choir in English. Monday there will be meetings as follows: Morning Services at ten o’clock, Holy Communion. Afternoon service at three o’clock. Evening service at eight o’clock. Arrangements have been made to entertain many guests from out of own and meals will be provided for all in the basement of the church. This dedication will be in the nature of a grand love feast between pastors and people as it will be noted that two former ministers Rev. Soholm and Jersild are to be here and Rev. Simonsen expects a number of his former parishioners to be present.
