WITH THE CURLERS

On the regular schedule games to date resulted as follows: Scott 11, Johnson 10; Fallgatter 9, Knudsen 9. Fallgattter won on the 13th head; Campbell 11, Smith 6; Nelson 15, Holly 7; Fallgatter 15, Jardine 8. Below is the standing of the teams:

Won Lost

Nelson 8 3

Campbell 7 3

Holst 6 3

Fallgatter 7 4

Holly 6 4

Scott 6 5

Jardine 4 5

Knudsen 3 7

Johnson 2 7

Smith 2 8

The Fallgatter rink wants the rules changed so all games will consist of thirteen heads. Of four the games they had on the twelfth head this season, they have won them all on the thirteenth.

The warming shanty at the rink will have to be enlarged we believe as there is scarcely room to crowd into it these nights, the spectators are getting so numerous.

The bonspiel is being played off and some very good games have been played so far. Johnson’s rink finally seemed to find themselves and drubbed the crack Holst rink two straight. Even Pete says he didn’t believe they could do it.

Fallgatter took two straight from Campbell but the scores were very close and the teams seem to be very evenly matched.

The first night Jardine and Nelson ran up large scores on Knut and Holly, but the second night the tables were turned.
