Fair Day’s Record The curlers are constantly playing
to get in form for the Milwaukee bonspiel and several good games have been
played. Among some of them are those of
Williams’ Milwaukee Rink, consisting of Theo. Cook, M.B. Scott, J.H.
McCollough, H.W. Williams, skip, played January 3. They won three game, as
follows: NINE O’CLOCK A.M.,
WHIPPLE’S RINK C.R. Hoffman Frank Stout Jeff
Woodnorth F. Whipple,
skip - Score 9 to 8. In the afternoon they played a
picked rink as follows: A.W.
Hollenbeck, champion cup holder Jeff
Woodnorth, St. Paul skip A.H.
Chandler, holds state record H.M. Lea,
skip - Score, 18 to 8. At 7:30 p.m. they defeated J.F.
Knudsen’s Portage Prize Cap Wearers’ Rink. E. Knapp E.H. Smith J.L.
Sturtevant J.F.
Knudsen, skip - Score, 17 to 13. Look out for the Williams’ Rink at
