Curling Club

From present indications there will be a good deal of interest taken in the popular and healthful game of curling in this city the coming winter.  A club is soon to be organized which will include some of the leading businessmen of the place and ought to include many more who confine themselves to the stores and offices day after day without any outdoor exercise whatever.  If this class of people would unite with the club and meet with it upon the ice, they would not only enjoy the pleasures of the game but would derive more benefit from the exercise they could receive in playing than in almost anything they could do.  Some of the members of the club are going to have blocks made of stone from the new quarry of Dayton & Bemis which when finished will probably be the finest curling blocks in the state.  The stone will be sent to Wausau where it will be cut and polished.
