WAUPACA
POST 1885 A
CURLERS CONTEST A point contest is being held by the
Waupaca Curling Club this week, the prize being the Rogers trophy, a silver cup
and saucer. It is to be played for each
winter, the person winning it three times in succession to own it. Two years ago S.S. Chandler, Jr., scored the
most points and won it; last year it was not played for on account of the poor
ice. The scores made up to the time of
going to press are as follows, each player going through the regular point game
three times. There are several players
in the club who have yet to compete, though it is thought that Hollenbeck’s
score will not be beaten easily: Name
