CURLERS’ CURLS FOR PAST WEEK.

HINT SCANDAL

ACCOUNT GIVEN BY ONE ON INSIDE IS COUCHED IN LANGUAGE FOR OUTSIDERS TO STUDY

There have been very few developments in the curling scandal the past week.  Judge Martin has been too busy planning his winter’s golfing in Florida to give the matter the attention it needs.  We hope, however, to have a thorough investigation well started this week.  Several suspicious looking events have gradually come to light lately, however.  For instance, why did Fallgatter let Pete Holst count one point on a certain head when he (Fallgatter) had seven counts in the ring and could have easily guarded some of them?  Why does a certain fat doctor smile and chuckle and claim he knows a lot of raw stuff and not give Judge Martin the facts?  What was it Pete Holst slipped Walt during that last head Tuesday night and Walt only counted one?  Why does Fred Fisher keep to the back streets lately?  Why did Dr. Chandler repeatedly call Cristy for an IN when Carroll insisted the OUT was the proper turn and why did John Hart throw his blocks without waiting for his spik to give him the broom when they played Nelson the other night?  And moreover, why is it the Nelson rink are up where they are anyway?  We ask you, Mr. Judge, WHY?

It is reported that Campbell’s rink has withdrawn from the club.
